Our GMO Glofish tetras are very strong, friendly and enjoy top grade discus food even. Tetras are known to drop quickly, but ours are tough!
GloFish are fluorescent fish that have been altered to express bright, neon colors, such as green, orange, pink, and blue.
These colors are achieved by incorporating genes from jellyfish, sea anemones, or other organisms that produce natural fluorescent proteins into the DNA of the tetras.
These fish are famous for their fluorescence under blacklight (UV light), so having blacklight LEDs or a similar UV light source is ideal to bring out their glowing colors.
Perform regular water changes (about 25% weekly) to keep water parameters stable. Ensure the new water is dechlorinated and at the same temperature as the tank.
