Hikari PraziPro is a liquid praziquantel concentrate designed to treat wide-ranging internal and external parasites in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums Like any fish keeper, we have faced our fair share of parasite outbreaks over the years. This targets sudden gill flukes, intestinal worms like nematodes (though Levamisole remains preferred for stubborn Red Camallanus worms), and even the white stringy poop. When parasites strike, the last thing you want is a harsh chemical treatment that crashes your nitrogen cycle or turns your clear display water cloudy. That is why we personally rely on Hikari PraziPro. It is a gentle liquid praziquantel concentrate that targets wide-ranging internal and external parasites in both freshwater and saltwater tanks, while remaining exceptionally safe for sensitive nano fish, delicate plants, and beneficial filter bacteria.
We recommend PraziPro because it knocks out flukes, intestinal worms, and flagellates without affecting aquarium visibility or fish fertility. For stubborn Red Camallanus worms, Levamisole remains our preferred option, but for general parasite control and quarantine peace of mind, PraziPro is our standard choice. If you are dealing with white stringy feces in your discus, pairing PraziPro with Hikari Metro+ creates a complete, dual-action treatment that is a reliable option for delicate display tanks.
