The Powder Blue ramirezi is different to the other ramirezi variations with its unique metallic shiny blue body. Black rams , bolivian and other strains have matt colour but this blue stands out and is a good option for the aquarist that loves colour.

These are captive bred and behaviour is very similiar to other ram species. These powder blue rams of ours tend to grow on the larger side of the ramirezi strains and they are a great extra centre dwelling “show” fish.
We love the spiky ‘punk hair’ of the dorsal fins that ramirezi have and the way that they flick it or flex it. This makes them so unique to other fishes. Adorable creatures.
