Yellow Saffron Lyretail Molly

Yellow Saffron Lyretail Molly is a well known livebearer fish and often recommended for a beginner aquarist. Their friendly, all over dwelling nature makes them enjoyable to view from a distance also. Mollies have a very guppy-like nature, they just grow bigger than guppies and fatter also.

Mollies can also handle aquarium salt well, even brackish conditions like puffers can handle. We keep ours, however, in normal freshwater conditions.

Please note that mollies may pick on very small fish like nano fish, for example chilli rasboras are too small, but cardinals are okay. Shrimp CAN NOT be kept with mollies, the mollies will chow them for sure.
