About the Bolivian Ramirezi

Bolivian ramirezi is different to the other ramirezi variations with its more “natural fish in the wild” look. The bolivian ram has a very natural biotope look, compared to the black ram or the powder blue ram.

These are captive bred and behaviour is very similiar to other ram species. These bolivian rams of ours tend to grow average ram sise of the ramirezi strains and they don’t grow as big.

We love the spiky ‘punk hair’ of the dorsal fins that ramirezi have and the way that they flick it or flex it. This makes them so unique to other fishes. Adorable creatures.
