Snow amano shrimps are just as tough as the normal brown amano shrimp. These snow amanos DO NOT BECOME OPAQUE WHITE. They remain a see-through white shrimp. But not clear or ghost – you can see they become more white-ish and easily distinguishable from the usual brown amano. Something a little different. They grow just as big also, as the normal amano does.
Also beware that any Amanos are very, very agile and athletic. They can crawl out of your tank – make sure your water level is slightly dropped or lids are closed.
